  • Bookings can be made through the website via the Book Now button above or if preferred, give us a ring on 07774 264 474 or email us at reservations@thesandcastlewales.com

    We recommend you book well in advance, previous guests booked 6-12 months prior.

    During the High Season (April-September) check-ins are only on Fridays.

    During the Low Season, 7-night stays check in on Friday, 4-night stays check in on Friday, and 3-night stays check in on Tuesday.

    We do offer lower occupancy discounts if max capacity is not required. You can choose the necessary rooms when booking.

    We tend to be more flexible during the winter months, so if you need to book a stay and cannot get the dates you would like, call Mike on 07774 264 474.

  • Due to the property’s location, accessing it may prove difficult for first time guests. If you are unable to locate the house, please call us.

    The host will greet you upon your arrival, provide an informative tour of the property, and guide you through the proper operation of every utility and facility. In addition, the customer manual with all the information on operating the home is in the foyer.

    Check-in is at 3:30 pm, and Check-out is before 09:30, as requested by our Cleaning Team. It is an enormous property to clean, maintain and landscape in six hours, but if we can get you in before 3:30, we will let you know!

    The property sleeps 12 adults max.

    Only the initial reserved guests are allowed on the property. Please do not have visitors or guests change throughout the week.

  • By booking THE SANDCASTLE, you agree to the enclosed House Rules and that the Pool and Property are used at your own risk.

    Terms & Conditions

    Please, we ask that there is NO

    • more than a total of 12 guests (babies count). Unauthorised over-occupancy will incur a fine of £250 pp/per night, or the extra guests will be asked to leave.

    • smoking (within 15 feet of anywhere!)

    • local visitors, or friends in campervans parking up

    • changing guests throughout the stay - only those on the Reservation are permitted

    • more than three large or four small cars - no large vans, or electric car charging

    • drone use or fireworks

    • tape or blue-tack on walls

    • food/drink or any objects on the snooker table

    • glass by the pool or hot tub

    • ‘yapping’ dogs 

    • loud music outside 

    • jet skis (they are not allowed in our bay)

    • sunscreen, oils and sand in hot tub or pool - use the hot outdoor shower first 

    • shoes or dogs in the downstairs bedrooms

    • drink or food in bedrooms apart from water

    • burning candles indoors

    • wet bathing bums or wet towels on sofas and furniture

    • re-arranging furniture around the house (but please move outdoor/garden furniture wherever you like)

    • children UNDER 16 to be unsupervised in pool or hot tub

    • children UNDER 16 to use the snooker table -  Any damage to the cloth will be chargeable                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

    • children jumping on beds, sofas, outdoor furniture, etc.


    PLEASE be aware that serious damage to the structure or fixtures/fittings/furniture will be charged to the client. We would like to highlight the good condition of the snooker tablecloth – replacing it due to spillage or rips could cost (£800 - £1000), so we ask for your careful use.

    Please observe the 3:30 p.m. check-in and 9.30 a.m. check-out schedule. The house is large (5000 sq ft), and we have to accommodate cleaners, gardeners, window cleaners, maintenance crew, pool/spa cleaning, and any “surprises.” 



  • A cancellation can only be made up until 3 months prior to arrival – and this will incur a fee of 22% of the total rental. This is a very large home which means bookings are normally made around 6 months to a year in advance.

    If the cancellation is made less than 6 weeks prior to arrival, then the entire cost will be charged. That said, if we are able to quickly fill said week, we’ll see what we can do about refunding you.

    Changing dates will incur a small administrative charge.
